Speaking and workshops.
I deliver sessions emphasising the crucial impact of connection and disconnection on issues such as trauma, resilience, wellbeing, and belonging. Such sessions and workshops can be adjusted to a variety of settings including the coaching profession, education, counselling, leadership, corporate teams, sport, youth work and community organisations.
Summaries of some examples of my talks can be found below. However, please do get in touch to discuss developing a bespoke session for the needs of your organisation or group.

Example sessions:
Wellbeing, Mental Health & Resilience:
These sessions foster increased awareness around the interpersonal and physiological factors that influence our wellbeing, mental health and resilience. Participants will leave with an enhanced understanding of how connection to self, others and the world can help individuals to face challenges, to heal and to thrive. Discussions will present a new perspective on building resilience and highlight a range of evidence-based, practical tools and strategies for participants to promote increased wellbeing and mental health in their personal lives and within the communities and organisations they are part of.
Connection, Disconnection & Domestic Abuse:
These sessions foster insight into the complex manifestations of domestic abuse, including abuse within romantic relationships, abuse within family dynamics, and intergenerational effects. Discussions will dive into the reasons why abuse is often unrecognised by those experiencing it. Participants will leave with wider awareness of the different impacts and guises of domestic abuse and an increased understanding of impacts on an individual’s sense of connection to themselves, others and their experience of the world. The session will include reference to personal experience alongside research and theory. Discussions will build towards highlighting evidence-based strategies to facilitate connection, nervous system regulation and felt safety.
Belonging & Connection:
These sessions focus on wellbeing, mental health and resilience but through a lens of relationships and interpersonal behaviour. Belonging and connection are examined within a variety of frameworks, including safety and threat cues, interpersonal neurobiology and indigenous and traditional wisdom. Discussions will highlight a range of tools and strategies to foster increased belonging and an enhanced sense of connection with self, others, and an authentic and joy-filled experience of the world in order to promote nervous system regulation, resilience, healing and thriving.
